He is in the middle of the pic Ahh, what a wonderful world.
Orchid 0 #2 January 25, 2006 There are many categories of heros....the real heros to me are the service men/women who put their lives on the line everyday. My dad is my hero for providing as well as providing guidance, protection, and love. My son is my hero for providing help around the house. "Love is doing small things with great love." ACMESkydiver 0 #4 January 25, 2006 The guy on the right in this shot is my hero. Here he is getting some well-deserved time off. You'll never see a pic of him in uniform; he always ducks out and changes before I can get the camera out. 13 years he's been serving our country. As an active duty Ranger, now a legal NCO in the reserves...he's been to some not-so-pleasant places this world has to offer, but remains a caring father and devoted husband. The fact that he serves in uniform is the least of the reasons this man is my hero -not that it isn't HUGE to serve, but none of you will ever know what this man struggles with on a daily basis. I love him. That's why the closing pin I wear says 'Joe' on the back, and 'WARRIOR' on the front. He is my warrior. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. NlghtJumper 0 #6 January 26, 2006 My heros are my family, for being able to stay sane while I'm over here. Also my fellow service men and women. I knew I wanted to serve since sophomore year in High School, there was just nothing else I would rather do. But my friends out here, some of them had a lot going for them, and they dropped everything and came to join the fight. I would like to say thank you to everyone who supports us out here. Even when Afghanistan seems to have been forgotten by the media until something really bad happens, most people arn't so quick to forget. To us out here, that means the world. Thank you! A man will do anything for the right woman, and when that woman destroys him, that man will become a hunk of meat with the common sense of a rodeo clown! ~ Christopher Titus
