GTAVercetti 0 #26 January 25, 2006 QuoteWhether or not I would ASK to be ticketed when caught, is irrelevant to whether or not I would DESERVE the ticket. You are right. Its ALMOST as irrelevent as this entire thread deviation. It was a story about how he got lucky. That is all. Sheesh. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing. grue 1 #28 January 26, 2006 Quote 25 mph over the limit is not a "warning" offense - that's serious stuff. I truly think that depends on a lot of factors, including locale, traffic, driver, vehicle, etc. 80mph in a 55 zone out in Incest Junction, Nebraska? Not a big deal. 90 in a 65 in rush hour traffic? Probably a different story. I got pulled over at a speed that would make most people freak out completely a few years back. The charge was dropped (I still do not know why. It should have stuck like glue, it was perfectly legitimate), but I don't speed anymore. Why? Not because my car, my training, or the conditions were bad, but because I never want to have a cop pointing a gun at me again. Fear of being thrown in jail and/or shot is a lot bigger deal than a couple hundred dollar fine cavete terrae.
