I totally agree with you. last night was a hoot. i laughed out loud quite a few times. After the try outs its boring as hell. And that girl from last night...OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She really worked her 15 mins of fame, unfreakinbelievable!!!!!!

Chuck and I are hugs fans... it's just entertaining! And, the singing continues to get better every year. The first year was a little iffy.

Last year had some incredibly talented performers.

Quick prediction: The girl whose mother is her vocal coach and sung "God Bless the Child" will be a top 4 finisher. Remember you heard it here first.

Last year I pegged Carrie as the winner from the audition phase.

Maybe I should become a talent scout...hmm.

The hot blond chick they have been showing on the commercial will be right there with her. The one whose mother left her when she was 2 and her father has been in and out of prison. She'll get by just because she is so easily liked...plus she is smoking hot!!

I think this year they have focused a lot more on the freaks. I think there are probably plenty of extremely talented contestants we have not seen yet.

My favorite moment the other night involved the guy who said he learned how to sing from Paula and Randy's DVD set. Cowell was priceless!

That WAS hilarious!!!!! You could be right in your prediction, but that cute blond was very good as well. I'll wait until they get the contestants narrowed down a little, because we didn't get to see all that were selected. On Rockstar INXS, I knew who would win from his first performance and they did make the right choice.

I agree!!! The girl, can definately sing. I'm guessing, she has a church choir background, not to mention a Grammy winning mom. Listening to her, gave me chill-bumps. She's a cutie, too. She'll go places, whether or not she wins Idol. JMO

I agree about the girl being in the top.

She was amazing.

But, I'm wondering why she needed this competition with her obvious connections. The previous Idol winners & runner's up probably would not have otherwise made it w/out the help of Idol.
