eeneR 3 #1 January 28, 2006 So the new job has me working rotating 12 hour days..basically 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off, 2 on, 2 off...repeat. Which basically means I have every other weekend on 3 days or off 3 days...not too bad, and always 2 days off during the week. The problem, I sit waiting for stuff to break, and well the boards are boring as hell on the weekends... Please entertain me! NWFlyer 2 #4 January 28, 2006 Then ... um... let's see. What to do to entertain eeneR? I'm afraid my morning is quite boring ... doing all the administrativa of my life before I hit the road again for three weeks. Want to help pay bills? Or submit expenses? Or decide whether I should cash that $2,500 check that's supposed to go into my Rollover IRA?"There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. d_squared431 0 #5 January 28, 2006 I have the same type of schedule which is great. The only difference is I get a 3 day weekend every other week. This is the first time we haven't been busy and I been able to use the computer at work in months. In fact this is the first time I have log onto this site in over a month. mmytacism 0 #7 January 28, 2006 Hey, If you can't install the AIM client because you don't have administrative privileges on your work computer, download Trillian. It's free, it supports AIM (and other messaging services), and it doesn't update your registry, so you can use it without admin rights. I use it because it's not as memory-intensive as the AIM client. Don't know if that's your situation, but if it is, I'm always glad to help a fellow bored worker find non-work-related distractions!
