All things being equal, I prefer short hair because it gets the woman out of the blasted bathroom quicker since it doesn't take her sofa king long to dry/style her hair when it is time to go out. *Stands there like a man ready to take a beatin'* Besides, it doesn't really require that much hair to get a nice grip.50 donations so far. NWFlyer 2 #23 January 28, 2006 I don't look good with really short hair - I definitely cannot get away with the "pixie" thing ... it just doesn't work for me, but I really envy those who can and look totally great doing it. But, after wearing my hair fairly long (shoulder length) for eight years, in September I went shorter, and I have to say ... this is the cut for me. Even four months and a copule of maintenance cuts later, I still find myself looking in the mirror and thinking "this is the best haircut I've ever had." It's easier to get ready in the morning, it frames *my* face really well, it can be styled a couple different ways and still work, and it tends to hold up well throughout the day. With my hair type (heavy and with a wave) when it was long, it required a lot of work to get it to do what I wanted in the morning and by the evening it could be a mess. More often than not I'd find myself just pulling it up anyway. I don't think long hair was necessarily unflattering to me, but this cut is definitely better. Attached is the last pic taken of me with long hair (two days before I chopped it off to the length that's in my avatar and other more recent photos). I'm really glad to see that there's guys here who can respect that not every woman looks her best with longer hair.
