lawrocket 3 #26 January 30, 2006 I remember it vividly. I was in the 7th grade, and had gotten out of my first period class. Second period was intermediate band, and I had just been promoted to it. I walked into class and it started. Mr. Shelton, the music teacher, took a radio in, set it on his chair and plugged it in. We all just listened. I remember that night I went to soccer practice, which was to be "chalk talk" and review of tape of our game from that weekend. Everyone was talking about the Challeneger, though. My wife is hotter than your wife.
Nightingale 0 #27 January 30, 2006 OMG. I remember that. I was in second grade, and we were watching the shuttle launch on tv at home. I remember a very moving Paul Conrad editorial cartoon in the LA Times a few days later. I've been trying to find a copy for years without luck. Nightingale 0 #29 January 30, 2006 Yeah... I've just been hesitant to bug him about it. I keep hoping to find it on the internet or in a book somewhere. I'll send an email and see if he/his assistant answers.
