Because you are all so bored, i was asked to post something. God the pressure ! Ok here it goes.

When you are on an airliner, do you always ask for the window seat ? If so do you sit there looking out the window wondering how far you could track from 40,000 feet and where you might land ? Or... do you think of the proper exit procedure to surf the emergency door down for one last ride if the plane was going down and had lost cabin pressure ?
or... do think... population overload ? there is enough room on the planet as far as i can see.

What do you think about mostly when looking out the window of a jet airliner ?

Usually, when I'm on a commercial plane, I'm thinking "I wish I had my rig."

I usually like the aisle seat, but on a flight to Vegas, I had the window. An older gent was sitting next to me, and at about 10K, he asked "Pardon me, but are you a skydiver?" I said yes, and asked him how he knew that, because I wasn't wearing any of my skydive shirts or my pin necklace. He said "You have that nervous look that skydivers get when they get on a plane without a rig... plus, you keep looking out the window, and then at the back of your hand like you want to check your altitude!"

The next time I fly, I'm going to be thinking about the night you made the weirdest post I've ever seen.

Thank you, dear.

I always fly First Class in the last row on the starboard side, window seat. I like watching the tips of the wings through turns, banks and turbulence, The flex is amazing. Mostly though i just look at the terrain to get a better idea of how the terrain looks form a skydive. ;) I don't worry about things that are not in my control.

Commercial airliners never have high end tequila. They look perturbed when I break out my own. Just one more industry trying to keep the short man down. How many short pilots? FEW. Short flight attendants? Yeah right. Available step-ladders so Vinny can put his stuff in the overhead bin? Not a chance, Vinny, use the seat like a good short person. Fucked up industry. It's so oppressive, I'm thinking it's driving me to drink.

Anti-short discrimination was tolerated back in his era! I'm leading the charge to stop it! They laughed when I sent my resume into the Lakers! No interview given. Proof enough - they hate shorty. They even made a movie titled 'Get Shorty' then didn't have the majority of the actors cast as short people. Hollywood - anti-short. Oh yeah, they have Danny DeVito and a few other token short guys, but overall - they hate shorty.

All about society keepin' the short man down. Well I'm not tolerating it anymore! SHORT POWER!

I usually ask for an aisle seat. I've ended up with windows on my last two cross-country flights, though. If there's a great view, I'll just stare out the window at it. If, like today, there's cloud cover and I want to watch a movie, the shades come down. But today they went back up and I looked at a relatively unfamiliar city (Boston) and tried to figure out what things were on the approach path.

Usually I try to clear my head on commercial airliners. That'll be even easier when I get the Bose noise cancelling headphones I just ordered. :)

My hubby and I are horrible to fly with anymore I think we scare the public with our suggestive discussions about how we would rather have a tank of O2 and a chute and each of us would take a kid. yup we have definetly gotten "the look" from whuffos on board:D:D:D:D:D-Caress
I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being
right.

Oh, I'm doing well despite the rampant discrimination present in society. However, I resent the discrimination nonetheless. I've risen above the anti-short discrimination and hatred - even if the NBA won't let me in. It's not that I'm unskilled @ basketball, you see - it's because I'm short.
