NWFlyer 2 #51 January 31, 2006 QuoteNothing planned for the day, but the weekend before, I'll be at the oldest boogie in Australia: Black Death. I like the way you Aussies think. (and yes, I know you're actually Irish, but since I'm assuming you weren't the one who came up with this boogie, the phrase "you Aussies" is technically accurate here). thegreekone 0 #52 January 31, 2006 QuoteWell, OK then. Panties unbunched. Sean, it looks like the "goylz" got you in a little "crossfire". MY advice is keep your head down and choose your words carefully. Btw, I will be visiting my sweetie the weekend before and let's just say we got "plans". In the words of "The Continental" (think Chris Walken), we will start out with some "fine shamponyu", truffles, pate'....and well, ppl will just have to rent the video. happythoughts 0 #56 January 31, 2006 Quote Don't have any plans this year, but I will be hanging with you the following weekend I think that the state of people-relations is just deplorable. All these people who have no plans should meet (if geographically feasible) and have plans of some sort. An occasion doesn't have to have a real reason to be a good celebration. Any excuse for a get-together with buddies is good. V-day is kind of a smoochin' holiday, so that makes it a little better if you have opportunities. I think SO's should treat each other special year round vs wait for the commercialized day to have quality time together. My exhubby never needed to buy me chocolates (cuz I dislike sweets), didn't need to do the flower thingy (since it bugs me how they die so quickly anyway)...he usually bought a thoughtful card and we would make a nice dinner together and then sit in the hot tub with a cocktail. _________________________________________
