Little help on sister's birthday

I have a favor to ask.

Today, January 28th, is my sister Laura's 40th birthday. She is the closest to me of my 7 siblings and we try to think of new ideas on ways to have fun with each other on our birthdays. She works at a performing arts center and always has to work weekend evenings, so she can't celebrate tonite. I would love to flood her work email with birthday wishes from people she doesn't know. She will know immediately that I started it.

So if you have just a little spare time, could you send her an email wishing her a happy 40th birthday (really play up the 40th part)? I have been trying for a long time to talk her into doing a tandem and I am pretty sure she will be doing it the next time she comes out to see me. A little extra encouragement from you folks would definitely help.

Now if you are weathered in and can't jump and are post whoring and just looking to kill time, could you go the extra effort and send her an internet card that is goofy/sticky sweet/childish.... I think you get the point. She will love it.

OK, I finally was able to talk to my sister(s). Laura and my oldest sister live together. When I called, Georgann answered. As soon as she herd my voice, she said "Oh is Laura gonna get you." Laura got off work late after the show on Saturady and slept in. The first thing she said when she sees Georgie in the morning is that she is going to get me and explains why. Laura finally calls me back last night. She was working her ass off the whole weekend and she didn't even celebrate her birthday yet. But it wasn't so bad because she laughed her ass off every time she checked her mail.

So here is the final count. She got 16 birthday greetings. She wanted me to pass along a thank you to everyone that welcomed her into her next decade. It made the fact that she had to work the whole day not only bearable, but actually fun. And she has decided to push her fear aside and do a tandem. She loves birds & birdwatching and giving her the opportunity to join them in the blue skies is going to be great to share.

We try to out do each other every birthday and she will have to work pretty hard to one up me next year. Thanks so much to everyone who sent a message. I'm not even sure who you all are, but thanks again and look forward to meeting you at a DZ soon. I'll make sure to wear my helmet and carry around a towel. Need to be realdy for all the noogies and wet willies I got coming to me.
