skydivexxl 0 #1 February 3, 2006 Just got back from the first CPC training camp at the Farm, and have plenty of thanks to dole out. (It took a few days to recover and post due to shitty Delta Airlines, much booze, and a shitty week of work) The camp was well put together, with different courses set up with all gates, coaching and debriefs. Many thanks to Mark Shimmell, for making many trips to the airport, putting 3 of us up at his house (some who he'd never previosly met!), and putting in MUCH work on the course and the camp. The staff (Mike, Frank, Blaine, Alan etc...), regulars, and Hans & Sandy for running a great DZ, making everything run very smoothly, being VERY accommidating, and making me feel like I was at home. Oh yeah, and thanks to Jim Slaton for hanging out. See you guys in April! I'll try to bring some other NorCal folks with next time! Blog Clicky
ExAFO 0 #2 February 3, 2006 Are they still charging men more for jump tix than women, even if the man weighs less (and therefore burns less fuel to get to altitude)?Illinois needs a CCW Law. NOW.

No. They only did that the first year they were open. And they only Charged Men $14 to 14000 and Women were $10. Everyone got a great deal. Women who wanted too were welcome to pay the $14 if they felt this was somehow unfair. Sorry.. at $14 Lift tickets for men.. None of us were complaining. Were they really doing this because women weighed less, or to attract more chicks to the dz? -Miranda you shall above all things be glad and young / For if you're young, whatever life you wear it will become you;and if you are glad / whatever's living will yourself become.
