jloirsdaan 0 #1 February 3, 2006 Okay, either I'm just an idiot or Delands website doesn't have their hours posted. Can anyone tell me what time things start rolling there in the morning? Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.

diablopilot 2 #3 February 3, 2006 I don't know that I've ever seen hours posted on a DZ website. When there are enough people, the planes go. jloirsdaan 0 #4 February 3, 2006 .....LOL, I don't necessarily mean when the jumping starts. Just when the gear shop and what not opens up. I've been to enough dz's to know jumping starts when there are enough people to make the load. Sorry for being vauge! Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft. AFAIK, the gear store opens at approximately 8 am (and generally the first load goes at the same time, if the teams are training). The restaurant opens at 7:30. rlIf you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

skymama 37 #10 February 3, 2006 QuoteWorse yet, it looks like tomorrow is going to be the same, both here and in Sebastian. Yeah, I know, but I got yelled at when I mentioned that in the Pyro thread. Watching the radar on the weather forecast, they didn't have the storm clouds moving out of Sebastian until late on Saturday. Now I don't know if I want to go that far just for a party because I have to leave early on Sunday morning to come back and throw a Super Bowl party. SkymonkeyONE 4 #12 February 3, 2006 The Perfect Spot restaurant has really good biscuits and gravy! Seriously. Also, jumping starts early (as previously stated), even during the week, when teams are training.
jloirsdaan 0 #13 February 3, 2006 Yeah, looking out on the landing area.....the weather is crap. I'm gonna go to the tunnel I think !! Go tour PD and RWS. And possibly buy a new rig . Hopefully it'll be good enough for Hop n Pops tomorrow....I'm doing the CCC w/ Scott Miller tomorrow..... But Sunday looks good.....as does Monday. So I will get a few jumps in. And it did open at 8 I got here like 15 after and there were people around! Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.

If you have "good" jumping shoes that you love, don't wear them right after it rains there. The drainage isn't that great in the landing area, there WILL be big puddles. I learned this the hard way.
