Could it be as much as a grand?I swear you must have footprints on the back of your helmet - chicagoskydiver My God has a bigger dick than your god -George Carlin
Vectracide 0 #29 January 29, 2006 Heck dude....whaddya askin me for? It really depends on if you go with the first white outline, or the lighter black outline. And size also. How large do you want it? Any colors to it? Besides, you might see if Steve Perry doesn't have a copyright on it already.... ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate..... Vectracide 0 #31 January 29, 2006 6-7 bills.......and might I say.....try a smaller one for your first time. It might be good medicine. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
Viking 0 #32 January 29, 2006 600-700 isn't that bad. why a smaller one first? I know its gonna hurt like hell (specially on my spine) I really can't think of anything other than this that i'd want on my body.I swear you must have footprints on the back of your helmet - chicagoskydiver My God has a bigger dick than your god -George Carlin
Vectracide 0 #33 January 29, 2006 I was suggesting a smaller one first because what you have planned is very aggresive approach to getting inked for the first time. It really doesn't have anything to do with the pain, but because you have never done it before, you dont really know how you will feel about being tattooed until you've done it, right? You just might not like it......it's possible right? So now, you've got this massive poster on your back......imagine living with something that size and not enjoying it as much as you thought you would. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate..... Skolls081102 0 #35 January 30, 2006 Thats a pretty sweet design. And I like how you went with the negative effect rather than doing the tribal in black. I used to tattoo (a few years back) the only way you will get an accurate price is to bring it to the shop and ask the artist. Every artist is different, and rates can vary widely. Before you go out for the price, do the research and find an artist that is exceptional with black and gray shading. It will make all the world of difference. Viking 0 #40 January 31, 2006 i did some photoshop work and this is KINDA what i want the thing to look like. I need to find a better picture of clouds or just have the artist draw up something. I'd want a slight outline around the cloud blocks.I swear you must have footprints on the back of your helmet - chicagoskydiver My God has a bigger dick than your god -George Carlin
Viking 0 #41 February 4, 2006 Ok so i changed the cloud block to color to see how it might look. I'm REALLY liking it. But i'm worried about fading of the ink over time. Especially on a piece this large. Is there anyone that knows how long before a touchup session would be needed?I swear you must have footprints on the back of your helmet - chicagoskydiver My God has a bigger dick than your god -George Carlin
ladyskydiver 0 #42 February 4, 2006 I really like it with coloring, Viking. They recommend getting a tattoo touched up every 10 years. However, based on color of the tattoo and time of sun exposure, it could be more or less time between touch ups. The oldest of my tattoos is a little over 10 years old and hasn't needed to be touched up, yet, as I keep it covered with SPF30 when in the sun.Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Viking 0 #46 February 5, 2006 thats what all the little bits for my family is for. i did photoshop the design on my back and was thinking about having the wings made a little larger so they go over my shoulder blades more. When i get it done i'm gonna have someone sketch it out and have them draw the clouds out, and include the smaller details.I swear you must have footprints on the back of your helmet - chicagoskydiver My God has a bigger dick than your god -George Carlin
