dislocated my shoulder at work and now I can't jump

Recommended Posts

I spent the week at Keystone all week doing some downhill training and on the last run of the day on thursday took a spill and dislocated my shoulder. So now I can't jump, ski, or work out, until I get x rays to find the extent of the damage and see if I need surgery. It's also not the easiest thing to do trying to throw drunk people out of a club when you only have one good shoulder. THIS SUX!!!

Sorry you're injured, bro. Get a script for percoset and stock up on DVDs and milkshakes.

Matt, you can get the bends in 10th group too!! I used to be on the dive team before I was switched to the Halo team. I should be okay, I've dislocated my left shoulder 10+ times and never needed sugery(of course I never saw a doc for it either) but still, I should be good. worst case if it puts me out for a while I'll be able to focus on school and my third job I'm about to pick up which will make me some serious cash!! Plus I'm getting all kinds of sympathy from the girls at workB|

yeah surface swims in colorado are never fun, the trick is to fin your ass off so you keep warm and finish quicker!! HAHO jumps are even worse up here though, especially at night.

Oh my third job by the way, it's bodyguard work, so yeah I'll be workin my ass off, and going to college too. I figure if I keep myself busy enough I'll never have time for another relationship and will manage to die alone and happy at the age of 25 when I go back to Iraq next year;)

Oh and Betsy, I'll always find a way to fly in the tunnel as long as you promise to stop in and say hi when I'm in eloy this spring.

I don't know where you are at, but here in Colorado we have been jumping the last few weekends...

I however was in Orlando for work and it was raining and cold (but nice in the tunnel)... I looked at the sky and said, "I wish I was at home, I bet it is nice." So I called a friend and he rubbed it in... He was jumpn' and we both got wingsuits together and he told me that he got down to 45 MPH - hence rubbing salt into the wounds... But, I guess I can't complain, the tunnel was fun as usual... Never the less - Colorado has more days of sunshine than Perris and Miami Beach... Eloy only has a few more days of sunshine than here... So, Dan.... Fix that damn shoulder and have the doctor look at it, because I need a teammate this year...

We have about an inch of snow on the ground and I have mud all over my tile floor since it's been raining off and on for the past week and my dog doesn't wipe her feet very effectively...

when have you ever seen an injury stop me from doing anything, in basic training I went 6 weeks with a stress fracture in my femur and didn't tell anyone because I was afraid to look like a quitter. So trust me, you still have your Outside Center;)
