....1461 days ago I put the needle down and picked up the phone......

In that time I have lost jobs, found new ones..

Made many friends and sadly lost many of them to this disease....

I have become PART OF instead of A PART FROM society..

I am loved for who I am..not for what I have or can do for someone...

I have jumped out of many different planes and HELICOPTERS! 393 TIMES!

I have the most beautiful little girl in the world who loves me.... And I am going to have a SON!!!!

And through it all I haven't had to get Loaded...

Just for Today I never have to use again...

Once again I am going to borrow Squeaks Sig Line..

Wow... Kinda hard to come up with adequate words... Congratulations doesn't begin to cut it, but it's all I can think of at the moment.

Thirteen years ago (on my birthday) I lost my lifetime best friend to an OD. Her death left a hole that can't ever be filled. I miss her every day. Reading this gives me hope; it's somehow comforting to know that people can escape that hell. I'm sure all the people who love you are grateful that you were able to make, and keep making, the incredibly difficult choice not to use.

On behalf of the people whose lives you've touched, and for anyone who may be inspired to change by reading this, thank you for posting.

I post this not looking for accolades but to show that it can be done. I remember seeeing people with multiple years clean and thinking "if that sick fuck can get clean the so can I"

Well if anyone that reads this questions if they can do it just remember "if this sick fuck can do it so can YOU!"
