I miss uninterrupted hold music

Remember when hold music was uninterrupted until a person came on? You could put the phone on speaker, half tune it out and when you heard the music stop you would pick up and the person would be there.
Now every 15-20 seconds, the music stops (you think am I being connected to a person?) and you hear, "Thank you for calling, all representatives are busy right now, please continue to hold."

Stop telling me to f@#$in hold!!! I know I'm on hold, just shutup and let the crappy music play.

I seriously can't hold for more than 2-3 minutes anymore without getting pissed off now.

My friends compay uses seinfeld stand up as their hold music. He says that he has picked up the phone and had people ask him to put them back on hold. Thats the way to go.

no interuptions. i have been known to call him get him to put me on hold and put my phone on speaker when doing paper work.
