JohnRich 4 #1 February 16, 2006 Spring has sprung, here in south Texas. At least, my azeala bushes think so - they're blooming in all their glory. Is anyone else getting spring flowers already? Yankees: eat your hearts out. What color would you call those flowers? They're not pink, and they're not purple - they're kind of pinkish-purplish... Then I read Loonix's post and I realized, "Oh yeah, it's February." Then I went outside and basked in the 80 degree sunshine while flying a kite, eating apple pie and wearing a sundress. Yankees, eat your hearts out indeed.
 Shell666 0 #5 February 16, 2006 QuoteQuoteSpring has sprung, here in south Texas. It's a lovely -28oC today with a windchill making it feel like -41oC. If there were any spring flowers (they could have been out on Sunday as it was +15oC), they're long dead now. Cold weather sucks. I am all about snow and cold, but only if there a very large hills around and I have skis. It also helps if there is a comfortable lodge at the bottom of the hill with booze and other good stuff. Its about 67 here today in Atl, though its supposed to be a pretty crappy weekend.Yeah...You need to grow up. -Skymama
 Shell666 0 #7 February 16, 2006 QuoteTHANK GOD I live in the south. Actually, it's been really warm (for us) since late November so I guess I can't really complain ... but damn it was tough walking outside today! Thank god for heated seats in my Jeep!
