I wonder how many peoples various online accounts could be accessed simply by using the password "skydive"

....waiting for madrush of people to begin editing their accounts

Probably alarmingly close to the number of people that are dumb ;)

"1 2 3 4 5... that's the combination some idiot would have on his luggage!"

I actually have 'skydive' and 'password' as passwords - but they're just to my cisco lab that I share with people :D
There is no such thing as a secure password anymore. Make up a pass phrase and you stand a better chance. Even the old 'use a special character' trick doesn't work as well anymore.

Ok, show of hands - who has their password on a post-it note on their monitor or under their keyboard?
it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

Mine are secure, I automagically generated random 40 character strings using the full character set, I used a unique password on each of the 50 boxen I own and then I encrypted them using a high entropy, extremely long keylength, quantum theory based one time pad that was written for me personally by Ron Rivest and is known only to the two of us.

TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.

Which is probably why you now sit sad and weeping in frustration over never being able to use any of your computers again.
Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

Dude, you know nothing about security:

If he can't get in, he can't use it, if he doesn't use it, it doesn't stop working.

It's dead-horse logic. :)
