skydivingbreed 0 #1 February 3, 2008 About to demo a friend's canopy. He's on a vector, I've got a javelin. I want to know if can just use his vector risers on my javelin, or if I need to change his canopy to my risers. They both look like 21" mini risers, though the RSL ring is not on the same side. thanks
Blink 1 #2 February 4, 2008 As long as the rings are the same size, you'll be fine, you'll find many people jumping risers from different manufacturers than their containers.

skydivingbreed 0 #5 February 4, 2008 thanks, yeah, I decided against attaching that particular piece... thanks for the heads up just in case though - btw - I actually attached the clip to the cutaway cable housing on the side it normally attaches to the RSL ring to. I figure this 1) keeps it from flapping and beating me in the face 2) is a safe place to put it since the cable housing isn't going anywhere, and therefore the RSL is non functional and not a hazard there
