dmcoco84 5 #1 February 20, 2006 Hey Everybody, A buddy of mine Dennis Clark it working on getting a Wind Tunnel built here in Virginia Beach, VA. He is a structural engineer and skydiver and last I heard he had the investors he needed to get the ball rolling but just needed city approval after it gets voted on by the Resort Advisory Commission. Attached is an article about the plans I saw the other day in the paper. L8er Coco
dmcoco84 5 #2 February 20, 2006 Oh and I forgot. Has anyone ever been apart of something like this before. Is there anything the public or other skydivers can do to help? Coco
ltdiver 3 #3 February 20, 2006 If it is a SkyVenture Tunnel it's potential site would be listed HERE. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Bodyflight.Net 0 #7 February 21, 2006 By reading the article it's easy to determine that the plan is to purchase an indoor recirculating SkyVenture...
flyangel2 2 #8 February 21, 2006 QuoteThis is a air recirculating tunnel, so you can fly all year long, no matter it it's snowing outside. Yup sounds like a SkyVentureQuoteThere are several others in operation, Clark said, including on in Orlando, Fla., two in California, one in Arizona, and another in New Hampshire. Damn, he forgot about us Good luck to your friend.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey

dmcoco84 5 #11 February 21, 2006 Sweet! Well I hope the city approves it. I don't see why they wouldn't. It would be a huge money maker in our area. Coco
