Who could eat with that line up?? Bobbi I'm not sure how to answer this. I don't know that it would be dinner I would want. I would want something in the context of the person I was with. For example, I would want to spend time with you at the beach. I would want to spend time with my old friend Don Gau shooting the shit while sitting around in his old bait shack. I will always love the time I spent with rl sitting in her car talking in the parking lot of a Dunkin' Donuts. I would love to do that again anytime. For Roo, anywhere would do. Absolutely anywhere. I would have a very difficult time making it just four people, though. Walt

SkydiveStMarys 0 #4 February 21, 2006 The reason why I made it "dinner", was that food tends to bring people together, sitting around the "family" table conversation flows freely. Plus it gives you something to "play" with when the topic gets heavy. BobbiA miracle is not defined by an event. A miracle is defined by gratitude. Bobbi With the people on my list, there would be nothing needed to bring us together and the topics would just go wherever--no barriers. Dinner is nice, though. If it *had* to be dinner, it would be a very different list for me. Probably people I either am not close to or don't know at all but maybe wanted to get to know a little better. That could be a really long list! Walt
thegreekone 0 #7 February 21, 2006 great question. *thinking* William T. Vollman Jerzy Kosinki Jean-Michel Basquiat and Lukas Knuttson, to keep all those crazy artists honest! Vollman and Kosinski have lived lives that would rival the freaky tales of any storyteller. would serve a big rare herb-crusted pot roast, garlic mashers, and lots of bordeaux, so nobody would go anywhere quickly. ok, that should kills this thread. my job is done here! PLFXpert 0 #11 February 21, 2006 I've always been fascinated with powerful women I like women who can stand tall next to their men, but also allow their men to still be men....I don't know how else to say it. But, she seems to fit the profile. And, as mentioned, she's absolutely gorgeous! Plus, there's the women's rights thing...my friend and I did a lengthy women's rights project video in high school (we made it really funny, while also informative) and had Salt-n-Peppa background music and crazy Calvin Klein-like commericials where we'd stand posing next to a ladder against a bare white wall and state "Be a man. Be a women. Just Be" (remember that commerical? It didn't go like that, though, that was our version)....OK I'm rambling now....but it was funny, I swear!Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. Nopullmike 0 #14 February 21, 2006 My dinner guest would be: 1) Joshua Laurence Chamberlain- He's a military man and I enjoy discussing the military. I would love to know what he thinks about the state of our current forces. 2) Jessica Simpson- Well she is single now and I have a thing for beautiful blondes with big tits. 3) James P.- He is my best friend. The guy is as smart as he is funny and would steer the conversation in some entertaining directions. He is also a huge Civil War buff and would hate to miss my first guest. 4) Osama Bin Laden- He would be the entertainment for the evening. We would all take turns kicking him in the nuts. Fun would be had by all (even that sick bastard Osama)... To cap off a great evening Jessica and myself would retire to the bedroom for some "alone" time. Dont tell my wife. SkydiveStMarys 0 #15 February 21, 2006 "I like women who can stand tall next to their men" Theres a line in a song that say something along the same lines.... I want a man that walks beside me, not in front of me, or behind me. I too am the same way...if you can't keep up...goodbye...if you walk ahead of me...there is a definite problem there too. Standing tall..isn't a problem for me either...BobbiA miracle is not defined by an event. A miracle is defined by gratitude.
