Cornholio 0 #1 February 21, 2006 Man allegedly killed roommate over toilet paper Fla. prosecutors say victim beaten so badly he had to be ID'd by fingerprints The Associated Press Updated: 4:52 a.m. ET Feb. 21, 2006 MOSS BLUFF, Fla. - A man accused of fatally beating his roommate with a sledgehammer and a claw hammer because there was no toilet paper in their home has been arrested. Franklin Paul Crow, 56, was charged Monday with homicide in the death of Kenneth Matthews, 58, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. Capt. Thomas Bibb said Crow initially denied his involvement, but confessed during questioning. Crow told investigators that the men were fighting about the toilet paper over the weekend when Matthews pulled out a rifle. Crow said he then began beating Matthews with the sledgehammer and claw hammer, according to an affidavit. Matthews was beaten so badly he had to be identified through his fingerprints, detectives said. Crow was being held at the Marion County jail without bond. It was not immediately known whether he had an attorney. © 2006 The Associated Press. All rights reserved. simplyputsi 0 #4 February 21, 2006 What is really horrible about this is people see the story and go oh some guy killed another over toilet paper. Now wrap your mind around what really took place. The guy took a hammer to his friend so many times that you could not tell who it was after he was done. All over some toilet paper. Would you ever think of hitting someone so many times with a hammer that after you were done you couldn't recognize them. The sound of the bones breaking, the blood that would be coming from the body. This is a sick sick world we live in these days. I vote for the eye for an eye punishment. Oh you beat someone to death with a hammer. Ok step into this room, oh don't worry there is only going to be a barrage of hammers slammed into you until you die. Sick fucking people out there.Skymama's #2 stalker -

I'm not trying to get this moved into Speaker's Corner, but the way I read it suggests the guy started hitting him with the hammer in response to the deceased pulling out a gun. simplyputsi 0 #7 February 21, 2006 Yeah I can see this as being SC stuff. What doesn't make sense is how someone can keep hitting someone repeatedly like that. IT'S NOT NORMAL!!!! Do you think the other guy would have repeatedly shot him with all the bullets he had? Maybe he would have, but that wouldn't be NORMAL either. Not that I'm a expert on normal.....Skymama's #2 stalker -
