Gravitymaster 0 #1 February 26, 2006 This is really sad news. I loved this guy. One of the greatest comedic actors of all time. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,186060,00.html
Michele 1 #2 February 26, 2006 Indeed, one of the most versitile actors we've seen. I don't know how many Saturdays I spent watching his movies, and then of course the 3's Company series, and The Andy Griffith Show...what a brilliant actor and comedic talent. Rest in peace, Mr. Don Knotts. And thanks for all the laughs... Duckwater 0 #4 February 26, 2006 One of the funniest thisngs I have ever seen was an episode where Barney was getting married. He bolts into the office and tells Andy "GUESS WHAT?" A reluctant Andy "what ?" Barney - "GUESS!" Andy - "give me a clue" Barney - "IT INVOLVES A RING" Andy - "I dont know" Barney - "IT INVOLVES A CAKE" Andy - "I dont know" Barney - "IT INVOLVES MY GIRLFRIEND" Andy - "youre getting married" Barney - In a truly perplexed state "HOWD YOU GUESS?" --
Gravitymaster 0 #5 February 27, 2006 You know...in some ways Barney Fife and the Andy Griffith show represents a different time in America. A time when the world was less complicated and people were more innocent. A time when you said hello to strangers and knew who your neighbors were. I really will miss Don Knotts as much for the brilliant comedian he was as well as for what he represented.
