16 ft - 5 m statue sculptured by Michelangelo in 1504.
Outstanding masterpiece.
There is a legend (but honestly I do not know if this "legend" applies to this statue or to another one...) that says that after Michelangelo finished after 2 years work such a David statue, he hit with a hammer same statue on its knee shouting: "Why don't you talk?" because it looked so alive....
