woodpecker 0 #1 March 1, 2006 I got video of my tunnel time and wondering if and how I can get a few still pics from it? Is there a way to pause the vid and take a snapshot? AlexCrowley 0 #3 March 1, 2006 many. hit pause, use still camera without a flash is probably the least technical way. There's always MS Paint if all else fails. TV's got them images, TV's got them all, nothing's shocking.
waltappel 1 #4 March 1, 2006 QuoteYes. Wiseass! Video editing programs enable you to capture still frames and save them in a format such as jpg for a bit map. I'm sure there are some free utilities to do that, but I use Adobe Premier. Be aware, though, that the resolution is really not very good when you do that and the picture quality will almost certainly be less than what you really want. Well - he didn't ask - there are utilities inside windows media - I don't remember how to get there - but it takes a still for you - I'm assuming you have the DVD - or DV tape -I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

mattjw916 2 #7 March 1, 2006 Oh yeah, what format your video is in will make a difference as to how easy it will be. =)NSCR-2376, SCR-15080
Nightingale 0 #8 March 1, 2006 Personally, i usually just pause the movie and hit control-printscreen, then paste the screenshot into ms paint or photoshop, and crop.
woodpecker 0 #9 March 1, 2006 LOL! True, I did forget that I posted this on DZ.COM and didnt get extremely detailed on what I wanted to do. Still waiting for the "I need to talk to an instructor or people I've taken vid with", and "My vid numbers are too low to worry about that yet" advice though. And dont worry, its not a 2 inch dvd I'm watching. still a few more downsizes before I get there.SONIC WOODY #146 There is a fine line between cockiness and confidence -- which side of the line are you on?
