ltdiver 3 #1 March 2, 2006 So, I've been having some hip/back/shoulder pain off and on (more on than off recently) during the past year. I -know- it's not the skydiving. I -do- believe it's from old age creeping in.... So, a diagnosis from a co-worker and a purchase of a Foam Roll from OPTP got me started on stretching the back, stretching the legs, core strengthening, spine mobilization, pressure point massage on my scapula, and myofasical release have all proved extremely valuable! As long as I do my exercises (like I tell my patients they must do ) is keeping me pain and symptom free! Results were immediate (although a bit painful the first 3 sessions). The exercises feel GREAT now. Thought I'd pass it along. Got the idea to do this from another thread today that talked (then got hijacked) about back pain. These books will get you going in the right direction. I'm a believer! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
NWFlyer 2 #2 March 2, 2006 I had some of those exercise prescribed by a PT after I was in an accident, but I stopped doing them. I should get back into it - my back always feels better after."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. ltdiver 3 #5 March 2, 2006 QuoteI just need to find that damn roll... it's somewhere in my closet. (Oh, and I'll be down that way this weekend ... mostly at Elsinore, I think, though.) It's always fun to find lost things in a closet. Go for it! As for the ...it has to be Perris this weekend. My team is training on Saturday and we're having Chad's Memorial on Sunday. Come on over. Aren't you flying in the tunnel sometime? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
