kelel01 1 #1 March 1, 2006 I only ask, because I was watching "I Love 1973" on VH1, and they were talking about Shrinky Dinks. I LOVED SHRINKY DINKS. But what the fuck did they do? You colored on them, then baked them and they shrank. WTF?! As one of the comedians said, "What could be more fun than playing with a plastic disk?". What toy did you love that you now find stupendously stupid?
lisamariewillbe 1 #2 March 1, 2006 The pogo ball... my brother stabbed it with a knife when I was 11 though... Ive wanted one again ever since... it was so stupid yet could provide so much fun...Sudsy Fist: i don't think i'd ever say this Sudsy Fist: but you're looking damn sudsydoable in this
NWFlyer 2 #3 March 1, 2006 Shrinky dinks kicked ass! What about ... what was it... spirograph or something like that? You spun these disks around and made weird drawings. I just got a Slinky for Valentine's Day. I thought it was cool then and even cooler now."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke

kelel01 1 #5 March 1, 2006 Spirographs are another excellent example. Pogo balls sucked butt, too. They were damn near impossible, but you couldn't stop tryig to jump on them.

Rookie120 0 #8 March 1, 2006 QuoteThe pogo ball... Was this another name for a hippidy hop. The big bouncy ball with a handle you bounced your but around on? That was one of my favorites. We always just called them "Clackers" Anyone? Don No joke - I believe they were called "Knockers" and we loved to play with 'em. They were kinda like num-chucks (spelling?) in practice in that there was always someone who thought they were getting real good with 'em and would be working 'em back and forth at a high stacatto and the concentration would lapse a little and CLAKKK!!! Nice shot to the skull. Always funny when it happened to someone else. But, for real, we called 'em Knockers...and we played with 'em...
