Only to get geared up and wait in the staging area while the Monsoons move in. I thought the song said... "It never RAINS in California"!!! First time in 10 years I was back at Otay... Coronado Island, the city, the border, the coast... so beautiful!! I am lucky to have made it to the market for food with all of the snow here.... I was conversing with 'SD Slider' on this site a while back and since I get out to San Diego now & then we made an appointment to actually meet in person at an East County bar...I walked in and we both busted out laughing...turns out I've KNOWN Eric for years, we were drinking buddies when I lived there. He says to me..."I never knew you were a skydiver!" I fly out there this week, he takes off work...and there we sit! BTW, my brother is an amateur race car driver and sent me pics of a NASCAR in-jump. Were you there? I think it was somewhere in southern California in the past couple of weeks.... If your Instructor was a tall guy with a ponytail, and tried to 'make a move' on ya...It was ME!
