I pass a couple of stations on my way to and from home every day and just make a note of the prices. I just checked my area and many of the prices had been updated 40 minutes ago. Gravitymaster 0 #48 February 28, 2006 Quote$2.30 (2.299) at the Texaco across the street from my office. Blues, Dave I wonder why the gas stations continue to price that way. Why not just call it $2.30 instead of $2.299. Do they really think people think they are getting it for less?
billvon 3,092 #49 February 28, 2006 >Why not just call it $2.30 instead of $2.299 Because if they call it $2.299 they will be listed as cheaper than the other guy's station on services like gaspricewatch.com.
