billvon 3,119 #76 March 8, 2006 >It is just WAY too complicated! Not complicated at all! If you bring a bottle of wine and don't care how it's used, just give it to em. If you want to drink it, open it, drink it and offer it to other people. We never have this problem. Typically we'll take wine over to a party, drink it, drink someone else's bottle, start in on the house's wine rack . . . the problem is usually not "there are all these unopened bottles of wine left!" Girlfalldown 0 #77 March 8, 2006 Quote the problem is usually not "there are all these unopened bottles of wine left!" As far as I can remember, that's never happened to me either. Actually, maybe it has and I was just too drunk to remember by the end of the night. I'll have to go check the wine rack for bottles I've never brought home personally. -------------- (Do not, I repeat DO NOT, take my posts seriously.) skycat 0 #78 March 8, 2006 At our wine/dinner parties the only bottles that don't get opened are the ones like Arbor Mist. It's not that it isn't offered, it sits on the counter with the rest of the wine, it's just that no one opens it. So I have 4 bottles sitting in my wine rack that I figure I'll use this summer for wine cooler mixed frozen cocktails.Fly it like you stole it!

I like this idea the best... I know no matter what kind of wine it is I can come up with a meal that will go with it... and then the guest still gets to enjoy it.Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...
