Believe me, I too have checked the mirror and it appears that I'm going to be 50 in June.

I will not be posting naked pictures either.

But this is not a reason for all the beautiful young ladies on this forum to stop posting pictures

I've given up on soft contacts--at least for now. The ones I have are supposed to last a month but I tore 5 of them in about a week. They are just too fragile for me. I've got an appointment with the doctor tomorrow and I'm going to ask her about more durable contact lenses.

Soft contacts probably wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to dry them and figure out whether they are inside out or not. It's during that kind of handling that they tear. IMO, they are far too much effort and expense for something that doesn't improve my vision anywhere *near* as much as glasses do.

My glasses are progressive bifocals. My contacts are prescribed so that my left eye sees close in and my right eye does distance. Neither eye has really sharp vision with the contacts plus I don't have true stereoscopic vision when I wear them.

Definitely not good for working at a computer.
