Was up in the cab at AFW last week...I work for a Railroad and EVERY controller I ever met is more interested in trains than aviation and I love aviation and cant stand trains... I swear to God, there were hundreds of thousands of people lined up all the way up the Cajon pass and into the middle of the desert to Cadiz. Rail fans are nuts.... The coolest part was the F18's buzzing us at 20 ft... We also have a employee Race Train that takes us to NASCAR races at Texas Motor Speedway.... ... I seem to get sucked up into working everywhere I go. I do not mind because when I was coming up there were a bunch of people who assisted me along the way so that I could be a better skydiver. I try to always help out where I can. Hope to see you if Uncle Sam does not have me tied up. I could be out of the state getting ready for a mobilization. See you if I can .
