True, Cap'n Kangaroo & Mr GreenJeans would have also been part of your era. I'm a 1957 boy... you missed out on the Beatles on live tv, too young to remember watching Neil Armstrong landing on the moon.... I also remember Rubic's Cube... :P

My first stereo had an 8 track, flashing disco lights and was advertised by Denny Terrio on Dance Fever.
I remember staying up late Sunday nights to listen to the King Biscuit Flour Hour
Never had parachute pants but I did have a braided rattail
Thank God I've always been camera shy
I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried

Aghhh make it stop. Make it stop. The Bay City Rollers? I thought that (bad) memory would be gone forever. My sister used to love that band. :S

- I remember the first moon walk (I was a young'un)
- I remember the '72 Summit on Ice (Canada/Russia hockey series).
- I remember the '72 Munich Olympics (including the hostage crisis).
- I attended numerous events at the '76 Montreal Olympics.
- I remember being too young to see "The GodFather" in the theaters.
- I remember being too young to see "The Exorcist" in the theaters.
- Happy Days
- Welcome Back Kotter
- The early Mash episodes
- Kojack
- The Streets of San Francisco
- Kung Foo

and so many more ...

My birth certificate says I'm 42 years young. But I swear (at least mentally) I'm getting younger by the day (or I just refuse to grow up). Oh and my back is feeling much better right now that it was 24 hours ago. I just came back from a walk and it's not too bad. I just may be able to play hockey tomorrow night. :)

Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

...and his teeny lil mandolin?:D

:DThat's the one... I've tried for years to forget that but haven't been able to... no amount of drugs has been able to erase that from my mind..:D

The cool stuff:
The Beatles

July 20th, 1969
My "Sky-Raider" kite
Laugh-In
Muhammed Ali
SlipNslides
"Verti-birds"
The Mothers of Invention
Water-Rockets
Sgt. Rock & Haunted Tank comic books
Clutch Cargo (with Spinner & Paddlefoot)

Seeing: Lawrence of Arabia, Doctor Zhivago, How the West Was Won, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, & 2001-A Space Odyssey in the movie theater - my parents are the coolest!

I try to forget the bad stuff - there was a lot of that, too.
