I thought it was kind of a cream color. I rember it had a tape drive that would never work, and I could program in Basic on it.
I also had an old XT with a Herculies Monochrome graphics card.

Nope I am talking about the atari 800. You didn't have to type in retarted strings to start games. Just plug the ame in and off it went. If you had a game programed in basic all you had to do was plug in the basic cartrige, and then put the flopy in.

Gaming systems... :D:D:D I wouldn't know anything about those... :S my parents would never let us have one of them... >:(

Its ok though... it forced me to find other things to do with myself... like falling out of trees... (I think I've fallen out of 3 or 4 at least...) B|

Damn....I can't remember. But I was prob'ly 10 or 12, so it would've been 76 or 78...in there somewhere. Just a game console. Maybe it was cream colored, but I thought it was yellow. I thought I was the SHIT, and all my friends wanted to play it....lol. But that's way too far on the back burners now....

Hey that xt was a real computer. It had a whopping 10 meg hard drive. I think it had something like 64k of ram ohh lighning fast. I could even overclock it by pushing the turbo button on the front of the machine.

:D:D:D my families first PC had an 8 MHz processer unless you had the turbo button pressed... then it ran @ 20 MHz... I don't ever remember running it at 8 MHz :D:D

(fyi: it might have been KHz... but it was a long time ago so I don't remember...)

don't worry, the hangover goes away as you found out... heheheh.......

Ok, it wasn't so much the hangovers I didn't like... There were other reasons I essentially gave it up.

I don't think I have enough display area. What do you think?

pull and flare, lisa
I is a college student!

You have more display area than me!

I do like the keyboard/mouse on one level but couldn't believe how hard it was to find a desk with pull out area wide enough to accommodate keyboard and mouse. Like whoever designed the system figured one could work with mouse on different level?

Anyhoo, depends how much you use your keyboard-
and how much booze you have to drink....:P

I prefer to have it the right level.......
and display at higher level---(used to stack old phone books under it)
