The weather forecast for the next couple of days is pretty bleak... see http://uk.weather.com/weather/local/SPXX0010?x=0&post=post&code=code&y=0 When there are showers forecast, does that mean that the day is a write-off? What I'm getting at is how likely is it that the weather will be bleak all day, or will there be clear patches that I can hope to get a jump or two in? Where I'm from in South Africa, when they forecast showers we normally have a clear day to start and then around 13:00 the clouds roll in. sometime between 15:00 and 18:00 we have a chuck-down thunderstorm, and then it clears up again.
