Don't you hate

That happens to me constantly. Ever heard of the sleeptracker watch? I want one for that reason. If you get up at that awake point...you'll be more reested. Going to sleep for those 10 minutes does more harm than good..... even though at the time it feels GREAT!

That usually happens to me when I'm stressing over some work that needs to be done. I absolutely hate it but it's great motivation to handle business so I can sleep better. I also have a pretty good routine for relaxing my mind; thinking about lying on the shoreline at my family lake house in Michigan.

I always have a few beers in the fridge for just such an emergency. If you lay in bed you will obsess and stay awake. Put a movie in the DVD player, have a couple of beers, and you will nod off in no time. Hope this helps.
