NWFlyer 2 #1 March 17, 2006 So I know there's lots of Cutting Edge fans on here. Did anyone watch the "sequel" that was on earlier this week?. The cable system in my hotel doesn't have ABC Family, so I will have to try to catch one of the many gazillion reruns when I'm finally at home. I did, however, get grue's play-by-play commentary on IM. I hope he won't mind if I share a little of the commentary ... [20:05] skydivinggrue: This movie is filling me with rage. [20:05] krisanne: it's only been 5 minutes! [20:05] skydivinggrue: I know!!! [20:07] skydivinggrue: I need a rifle. [20:07] skydivinggrue: and a list of names of those responsible [20:11] krisanne: step away from the television [20:12] skydivinggrue: Train wreck ^ 128921 [20:12] krisanne: don't make me come in there and turn that TV off. [20:12] skydivinggrue: I was running out of things to hate. This is refuelling my tanks. Wonder if I'll like it? "There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke
Rebecca 0 #2 March 17, 2006 Someone say Toepick? Um, no, I avoided the sequel. I even avoided the commercials for the sequel while I was watching the original. Moira Kelly and D.B. Sweeney make the original good enough to watch. The script and plot are only so-so, but the lighting, cinemetography and sound track are good. It was never good enough for a sequel. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

grue 1 #5 March 17, 2006 Nah, only watched the first hour or so. At that point I was so filled with white hot rage it was a good thing the show I had the TV on to actually watch came on, lest I climb a tall building with a firearm and go Whitmancavete terrae. seejanefall 0 #9 March 17, 2006 At the time the original Cutting Edge came out, I was dating a speed skater. (He raced both ice and inline) I was soooo into that movie. . . I can't understand why they'd do a sequel. _____________ PMS #
jimmytavino 16 #10 March 17, 2006 after a while Nancy and I caught on to it and so It's a favorite. When we heard of the sequel.. We unanimously and instantly vowed not to watch it... stuck to our word too.... The best part in the original is the Coach, anyway " Introductions OVER!!!, Now is time to WORK! "..... hahaha How was the coach character ?? in # 2 ?
 GogglesnTeeth 6 #11 March 17, 2006 why did you steal my avatar jane??? A home that, at approximately 2,100 miles from New Orleans and the Gulf Coast, *just barely* missed the path of Hurricane Katrina.
