LearningTOfly 0 #1 March 23, 2006 Their philosophy is 'follow your dreams' How does this tie into the way in which RB holds events, and why all the hype? It looks like RB pours a ton of money into various events, but why (advertizing is the obvious answer, but it seems that there is more to it... some events are obviously eccentric)? What strategy do they use to legitimize and profit from these events? How is the company so strong that it can sponsor so many atheletes, hold so many events and still, as it appears, make such a profit.
Laurel 0 #2 March 23, 2006 If they produce an annual report, you should request one. Also, visit their website and look at their distribution and production. ..................................................................... The company is so strong because it sells hundreds of millions, if not billions, of dollars worth of drinks each year. Also I would imagine that the actual amount of money it spends on each fringe extreme sports event is not that great. The cost of their mainstream involvement in F1 alone probably exceeds all the skydiving, base jumping, cliff diving, dune buggying etc. by a long shot. As for why they do it, maybe Dietrich Matesich just really likes sports?Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Because they get $2 a pop for 2 swigs of liquid and in some places here in Colombia I've seen it as high as (equivelent)$8.00 a can."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
