chaoskitty 0 #1 March 28, 2006 I've had no less than four phone calls just today from companies "conducting a study of IT executives" on either hardware or software. I know it all turns in to sales.. but I'm really curious as to how theyre getting in touch with me directly. Neither my name or number are listed on our company website. I do have my title and direct line in my sig line in emails. I wonder if some software scans over IP for keywords or something. Anyway. I wish they'd stop calling. pincheck 0 #4 March 28, 2006 its also possible that a company you have dealt with have passed on information/contacts they have to someone else by networking with others.
