Hey Stones fans...

Recommended Posts

apparently Mick is doing reality TV..tonight on A&E at 9 p.m, Being Mick airs.
A&E tends to do a better job at "reality" TV. So if anyone of us lame people that don't have anything better to do, you may want to check it out.

The Summer of 64', the Stones introduced their first U.S. release; 'Tell Me' and their first album... 'The Rolling Stones'. That fall, they were on the Sullivan show. What amazed me was... my dad liked them!:o I had always wanted to see them 'live' but, could never afford tickets. My wife, got tickets for their 'Bridges to Babylon' tour when they were in Ft. Worth. I was mesmerized! The Dave Matthews Band' and a couple other bands came-out first. You could tell the difference in 'crowds'. Over the Stones fans was a cloud of smoke (hee, hee). Not much has changed!:D

I went to school with Bill Wyman, original bassist.... First encountered the band in 1961 when they played clubs and pubs in south London.
I admit to being old.

Just how damned cool was that!? You lucky son of a gun! Bill seems to have a fondness for 'young' girls. That is, according to his book; 'Stone Alone'. It's amazing to me, out of all the groups that came out of the 60's, the Stones have lasted the longest. I never understood where anyone got the idea they were 'dirty' or grungy... just because they didn't dress the same and showed individuality.
