TrophyHusband 0 #1 April 1, 2006 the latest version of itunes does not work without also installing quicktime. quicktime has decided that it will be my media player for all videos. i don't like quicktime and want to use windows media player. the problem is that no matter what i do, my preferences and defaults get somehow overridden right after i change them. i am forced to use quicktime if i want to watch any video clip. i called apple, but they said that since my ipod is more than 90 days old, i would have to pay them to tell me how to get around this. i've been googling this and trying things all day, but so far nothing has worked. if anyone knows some secret, please help me.
