Ok, I finally got around to reading the whole article, and first of all I have to say:

But other than that, it's an interesting idea. Though it does sort of seem that what the animal eats would affect how its meat tastes(?), and if that's the case then I wonder how they will get it to taste "normal." But the possible environmental benefits of in vitro meat make it seem like something that is definitely worth the research.
