boinky 0 #5 March 29, 2006 I don't get out much, ya' know! I've been to San Marcos. I've been to Waller. Obviously, I've been to Aggieland. I WANT to get to Temple. If I go to Skyfest, I'll get to hit Spaceland. But I don't really consider an hour drive "close." Nina Are we called "DAWGs" because we stick our noses up people's butts? boinky 0 #7 March 29, 2006 Really? Well, that sucks. Technically that means roughly 60'ish mph and my truck only gets about 15'ish mpg. Explains why I don't go anywhere. That's cuz the state - if that's really what you can call it - that you came from - an hour is like 50% of the state - In Texas - an hour is averarged at about 1%I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

Then I moved to Nashville, where you can drive an hour North and be in Kentucky.. or an hour south and be in Alabama. That was WEIRD! You cant even get from Austin to San Antonio in an hour! It takes about an hour to get from downtown Dallas to downtown Fort Worth, and thats considered a "Metroplex"!
