shropshire 0 #7 April 2, 2006 Whilst near the castle did you visit the camera obscura on the Mile ... It gives an intersting perspective of the city. I love Edinburgh. I was stationed at RAF Turnhouse for a period and had a great time. . (.)Y(.) SBS 0 #17 April 2, 2006 very cool. do they still have that room that is like the inside of a camera that uses a mirror mounted on the top of the castle to see all around? -S_____________ I'm not conceited...I'm just realistic about my awesomeness... pincheck 0 #18 April 2, 2006 sorry didn't come across it no, sure it was Edinburgh castle. Billy-Sonic Haggis Flickr-Fun
SBS 0 #19 April 2, 2006 Pretty sure. It's a room that has a tall chimney above it and at the top is a series of mirrors that eventually project on a white table top in the middle of the room. It was 12 years ago or so when I was there, so maybe it's gone now. It was pretty cool though. -S_____________ I'm not conceited...I'm just realistic about my awesomeness...
