Your Name Sucks

Recommended Posts

So I have this weird thing about names.

Over the course I've my life I've noticed that there are certain first names that I either always get along with or never get along with.

For example- I get along great with Brian's, Jason's, Steve's, and Andrea's.

I've never gotten along with Brad's, Kyle's, Anne's, or Julie's.

Am I nuts or is there something in a name???

I'm usually the only one of me that people have met. So they have to form opinions all on their own. ;)

I think some people sometimes live/don't live up to the meaning of their names ( my name means Princess:)). However, I think if you have a bias towards someone just because of a particular name, you should try and be conscious of that. You never know, you might end of befriending a Brad or Julie.:)
Don't mention the name Stacy, I think it's PLFXpert who doesn't like Stacys:ph34r:

I have nver gotten along with "stacy's" But maybe one day I will meet one that I will. There have only been two, one I grew up living next too and we never really got along and the other "stalked" my husband, after first making "friends" with me, she even some how got a hold of a picture of our oldest son and was claiming him as her own!!?:S

But yeah, there is something to a name, I don't really care for mine and don't like to be called by it.... And as for last names, mine is hyphenated maiden-married, because I am equally proud of both!:)

Most of the Rebeccas I've met are quite memorable in their own ways. When I meet them, I always tell them I like meeting a cool Rebecca for this very reason. I want to keep the name good!! Actually, I've said it quite a few times, so I hope none of you have this name on your list! :D;)

(The only 'Rebecca' I didn't like went by Becky, which isn't the same thing. :P)

I have, in the past, not gotten along well with Ashleys. So weird. I get along with everyone else. :|

Yes there is; and mine certainly does suck. I blame my parents for my being made fun of my entire life. They should have known better.

I knew a Porsche, too. Hmmm. And a Mercedes. Both were whiny bitches. What's with naming kids after cars???
