waltappel 1 #7 April 8, 2006 I'm watching "Dr. G, Medical Examiner". Damn she's sexy!!! Anyway, she used some super glue to close a gunshot wound so she could do some analysis. Did I mention she's really sexy? Walt
NtheSeaOrSky 0 #8 April 8, 2006 QuoteI used my "super glue" to seal a wound. What's the most unusual or interesting thing you've used it for? Interestingly enough (or not) there was a counterpart to superglue - called nexaband and it was used for closing superficial tissue wounds. My first experience with it was as a vet tech at an emergency clinic holding a wild bunny still while the doc 'closed' up the numerous wounds sustained in wild bunny versus domestic cat. Well, as I found when I went to put the bunny in its evening abode, nexaband doesnt dry quickly, and the bunny was now attached to my palm As I come walking back into the treatment area - bunny in tow - I get 'why are you still holding that thing'. My reply 'um, yeah about that ' and then removed the hand from beneath the bunny while it stayed suspended from the other hand in mid air with lil wild bunny doing the cutesy bunny nose thing all the while. Once everyone quit laughing we got the bunny detached and he left the hospital the next morning with a 'souvenir' of my flesh. Never lived that one down and neither did the doc .Life is not fair and there are no guarantees...
McDuck 0 #9 April 8, 2006 If she's using CA to seal a gunshot wound, she's okay in my book. You said something about this sexy woman being a doctor or something? I missed it. ccowden 0 #10 April 8, 2006 Back when I was playing bass in a punk band (early 90s) I used it to cap the tips of my index and middle finger on my right hand because I would get blisters from time to time.
McDuck 0 #11 April 8, 2006 Is that a common thing for guitar players? I'd be interested to know that. I can't play to save my life, but when I try, it takes me eons to build up callouses that work in my favor.Kevin - Sonic Beef #5 - OrFun #28 "I never take myself too seriously, 'cuz everybody know fat birds don't fly." - FLC Online communities: proof that people never mature much past high school. Bolas 5 #12 April 8, 2006 That's funny. Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh.
ccowden 0 #13 April 8, 2006 Only when you play harder and faster than you have been for some time. I had to get thru practices though, and it seemed to work pretty good. Although I had to change all the settings on my amp cuz it totally changed the sound.
