bigway 4 #1 December 4, 2007 So I am trying to find out if people from most countries use these gloves, ever feel the need for them. They are very thin and made out of Silk for putting on under your glove. Alot of people in the uk wear them outside of the summer months under their tackified gloves. I do not sell these gloves at this time and I am looking to see if there is a market across the globe for these gloves. Also, how much do they sell for on average. Pic is below. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
moto89 0 #2 December 4, 2007 I'd probably buy a pair. I jump in baseball gloves which offer very little thermal protection, and I've wanted something thin to wear under them for warmth.Less talking, more flying.
dragon2 2 #3 December 4, 2007 I sometimes wear them (oldish Odlo silk liners), but there are better ones now, of newer fabric. I have some real nice soft Northface gloves that are real thin and way warmer to wear as first layer. ciel bleu, Saskia
DougH 270 #4 December 4, 2007 I wear synthetic liners, I would wear what ever was the warmest for the least ammount of bulk. My current ones just happened to be an impulse buy, they were right in the front of the store."The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
mr2mk1g 10 #5 December 4, 2007 After lots of experimenting I personally plumped for a really good quality pair of neoprene sailing gloves. I still have good tactile control and my fingers are warm and toastey. I even got frostbite on the end of my nose the other week but my fingers stayed warm... well not painfully cold anyway. This is what I got: http://www.henrilloyd.com/product_view.asp?catalogue_id=6&prod_id=1094&back_url=product_search.asp&level3_id=&search= I know a lot of people who use the silk liners though. They evidently work for many.
skydivingchad 0 #6 December 5, 2007 i bought Under Armour cold weather gloves. They are basically the same as silk liners. they fit great under my neuman warm weather gloves and work great. my hands are never cold. Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug. ZigZagMarquis 9 #7 December 5, 2007 I don't do slilk glove liners, but I do wear synthetic glove liners under batting gloves on the colder... SoCal... winter days... Most folks I know that use glover liners use the synthetic types, not silk, although more jumpers might use silk ones if that's what the DZ store had. I know a lot of folks that put on latex gloves (or those other non-latex types) under batting gloves when jumping in the winter.
siddacious 0 #8 December 5, 2007 Quote I know a lot of folks that put on latex gloves (or those other non-latex types) under batting gloves when jumping in the winter. Most people (myself included) at my home DZ do this as well. That said, I might get some liners of some manner, though more likely I'll look for some polypropylene ones.A dolor netus non dui aliquet, sagittis felis sodales, dolor sociis mauris, vel eu libero cras.
