Best day jumping ever!!

Recommended Posts

Saturday was an extraordinary day for me! Did my first solo (finished AFF in Jan @ the Memorial Boogie in Mesquite, NV - see article in Parachutist). No pressures to pass anything. For the first time, it was just really, really, really FUN. B|

My second jump was even better. All of the butterflies were gone and I just wanted to go up and jump. :)
Sat. was the first time I started feeling like a skydiver. (I've got a ways to go, I think I should have my A before I start calling myself a skydiver.:S )

Beautiful spring weather here in Utah. Finally got to fly with my friends (lookin forward to doing that a LOT!!). Didn't do anything stupid, and did a lot of things right. Landed 15' away from the windsocks on my first jump. Stood up my second jump.

I've re-evaluated my timetable for getting my A. It WAS by 4th July weekend...weather permitting...I'm changing that to Memorial Day weekend!! :D

GOD I LOVE MY LIFE! IT'S MONDAY MORNING AND I STILL CAN'T STOP SMILING! :)
One weird side note - my first solo, first load of the day, plane was loaded with the DZ regulars I've gotten to know a bit over the winter...two chops...in one load! My friend and the DZO both had to chop! Very weird...but both walked away so I'm still smilin!
To borrow a line from Squeak...MY LIFE ROCKS!! HOW'S YOURS??!!!

Don't you just LOVE it when that happens?
Congrats!
My reality and yours are quite different.
I think we're all Bozos on this bus.
