Glipazide 0 #30 February 16, 2004 QuoteWhats everyone got in their play lists and anything a bit unusual in rock out there? Hey PhreeZone, Check out my friends I went to school with.. there band is pretty hot with great sounds.. Just give em some credit at the end of the vid and they dont mind if you use there songs.. You just may have to convert them over to mp3's because IMUA converts them to something else now..I can give you the software to do this if you don't have it already.. Whoever listens to them, let me know what you think, and also sign there guestbook. http://www.skrachtapple.com/Downloads.php Just some good ones off the top of my head are: Sway, H.I.D.E., Songs of the Revolution, Lee Boba.. Hell just about all of them are great, with different styles.. Thanks! Clint S.http://sexygirlabs.com/url]

peacefuljeffrey 0 #39 February 16, 2004 QuoteI'm getting ready to do another video mix and I need some music... I usually just go grab a punk remix from Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies but figured I'd branch out a bit this time. Whats everyone got in their play lists and anything a bit unusual in rock out there? You want to go to www.boxelder.com and check them out. There are four free MP3s to download, and you should get any of their CDs. This band is awesome! I recommend the albums "Love Light Affection" and "Live Under the Sun" most. The former has a song called "Fly" on it that does something wonderful to me whenever I hear it. "Know you're god in everywhere, the universe, between the twilights -- caused it, but pretend not, just to play... realizing love like you've never been hurt, been hurt before -- a brand new meaning peering off that ledge inside your mind... stepping off to FLY... FLY...so high!" Okay, now I have to put that song on... Enjoy. --Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... Hard line, hard line after hard line!" PeteH 0 #40 February 16, 2004 Quotei'm usually listening to Slayer. You can't go wrong with Lombardo-era Slayer About the original question. I think fast and aggressive punk/rock/metal is only way to go as skydiving music. What I've been listening lately: Nativity In Black - Tribute To Black Sabbath Some great songs that might do. Kreator - Coma Of Souls Premium thrash metal from Germany. Some songs from their latest album Violent Revolution would fit better for your purpose. Cynic - Focus Technical (death) metal. Not good for you. Accept - Restless And Wild Fast As A Shark might do. Witchery's version is heavier, but you can't compete with Udo's voice Brides Of Destruction - Here Come The Brides (promo) Song I Don't Care is what rock 'n' roll is all about. Brilliant song that would fit any skydiving soundtrack. Sadly rest of the album isn't that great so I only gave it 3/5. Chastisement: Alleviation Of Pain (promo) Swedish deathrash. Pretty good, but might be too heavy for most. If you want fast and aggressive swedish stuff, I'd go with The Haunted's Hate Song (+most of the songs on their debut) or Blinded By Fear by At The Gates (from Slaughter Of The Soul album) Sähköinen Ekstaasi - Horisontti On Lähellä (demo) Finnish band that has lots of Black Sabbath influence. Groovy stuff. Some songs would sound great with skydiving. As you don't have this one (that can be arranged), I recommend Cathedral's stoner stuff. Songs like Midnight Mountain, Urko's Conquest, Utopian Blaster and many more are worth to check out.
