Andy_Copland 0 #1 April 10, 2006 OK just watched this program on Elvis... My God i was angry watching it. People flocking to his home to get married on his drive, saying how good a role model he was, paying thousands to arrange flowers on his grave. All i could think was how much money Elvis Entertainment whatever it was who ran the whole thing were making off these sheep. Am i the only person who thinks a drug abusing bloke who had group sex in front of a two way mirror with young girls only to end up dead on the shitter is not actually that great a guy or role model? I dont even think he was that great a talent, i just keep thinking why? and how?1338 People aint made of nothin' but water and shit. Until morale improves, the beatings will continue. SkydiveStMarys 0 #7 April 10, 2006 I'm an Elvis fan....I appreciate his contribution to the history of music...I feel he was exploited...and also he was a lost soul..... Andy_Copland 0 #8 April 10, 2006 See i still dont get it!! In my honest opinion and not trying to sound like an arse, i think he is absolutely aweful. Each to their own, but what was nice was that no matter how sheep like the crowd's where it did bring people together... just wish it wasnt Elvis who had that effect.1338 People aint made of nothin' but water and shit. lisamariewillbe 1 #10 April 10, 2006 The thing is, you have to place yourself in that time frame, when Elvis started. So many well everyone but the teenaged girls were against him and his evil hip swinging lust filled music. He made history with his music, and dance moves. Its not for us to understand but he did pave the way for future rock and roll which im sure you do understandSudsy Fist: i don't think i'd ever say this Sudsy Fist: but you're looking damn sudsydoable in this

Andy_Copland 0 #12 April 10, 2006 OK OK i dont hate him that much, what i despise to the back teeth is the profit and franchising of his name still and the money being made off a dead guy. lisamariewillbe 1 #18 April 10, 2006 Thats not Elvis, thats those who own his estate, and the only reason the estate is profitable is because of how many people loved the man from around the world and choose to be freaks by hanging out at the gates of graceland when they could be jumping... but thats not Elvis... Elvis is dead...Sudsy Fist: i don't think i'd ever say this Sudsy Fist: but you're looking damn sudsydoable in this
