sdctlc 0 #1 November 26, 2007 I acquired a nice 31-15 head and table with motor. The table and head are nice but the motor needs to be re-wired. The motor works but the wiring is a bit scary and I don't want to plug it in again till I get it re-done. I was looking on line for some info regarding a wiring diagram.. Anybody have one or any info. I also looked for a manual just to have access to one. I know how to run the unit but it is nice to have a manual now and then. It also might have the wiring diagram. The motor is noted on the placard to be a Singer "CAT SA 930" It has a 1/5 HP 1725 RPM. If anybody knows where to download a manual or knows about a wiring diagram please let me know. NickDG 23 #2 November 26, 2007 I've never found a 31-15 manual online. Here's a page full of free Singer manuals, but unfortunately the 31-15 is not one of them. http://parts.singerco.com/IPsvcManuals/ But, there is one on Ebay at: http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-SEWING-MACHINE-MANUAL-FOR-SINGER-31-15_W0QQitemZ160183438963QQihZ006QQcategoryZ41246QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem And here's a few "parts" manuals for the 31-15 if you ever need the numbers: http://parts.singerco.com/IPpartCharts/31-15.pdf http://parts.singerco.com/IPpartCharts/31-15_20.pdf http://industrialsewmachine.com/webdoc1/used/used-brochures/31class.htm And if interested in your machine's birthday you can call Singer at (877) 738 - 9869 with the serial# and they will tell you the exact date the machine was built . . .
